Fortress Mentality

Don´t fence me out!" say Mexicans

America's plans on building their border wall between them and their neighbor Mexico, shows what type of a nation they truly are. Oppressive and hostile, backwards and paranoid. With the example of the world and it's great fences thru history one would think America could learn from that. This nation has no shame to stooping to all the worst man can do to each other and all these examples of what they do should be heeded.

The link below from the El Universal newspaper is a very fair assessment of what the problems have been between the two nations and what is being done about it.

"Central and South American countries have joined Mexico in deploring the Fortress America Mentality".

"As U.S. Ambassador Tony Garza said last week, of course the United States has the right to build a wall. He should keep in mind that it wouldn't exactly be a sign of progress for his government's hemispheric diplomacy. It would symbolize the deterioration of relations between the two nations".

"Sadly, there's plenty of political hay to be made in both countries from hysteria over the long-simmering quarrel. That's partly because immigration is not a stand-alone issue. It's mingled with worries about the cross-border drug trade and the terrorist fears that grip sizable sectors of the U.S. public".
