I would say that the blog in the article you point to reflects radical Islamic views, not that of mainstream Islamic people I know. I'm sure you can find radical or fundamental Christian viewpoints that read similarely. That does not mean that all members of either religion have radical viewpoints like these. The Neocon's fear element would have you believe handing out felt moons for all of our Muslim friends (or the more modern version - to record people's religious preferences in an indelible database) would solve this problem.
Maybe I didn't read enough but I didn't come across anything radical. To me all this theology is an exercise in absurdity for which I have no time.I have nothing against anyone who chooses to spend precious time absorbing all this mystical trivia until it affects my reality with conflict and proselytising and oppression.Actually I wish it would all go the way of Toltec sacrifice so we could move on but half the people in the US still don't believe in evolution.
