Haitians get it
Haiti's electoral agency on Friday threw out Dumarsais Simeus, Samir George Mourra and Jacques Jose Nicolas from the race for the country's presidency. The council on Friday ruled that no holder of a foreign passport can run for election in Haiti. Simeus is Haitian-born millionaire who was naturalized an American Citizen in 1970. Mourra, a business man, was also a naturalized American Citizen. Nicolas, was dropped due to problems with his documents. This leaves 35 candidates running for presidency in the election expected to be held in December.
