High School Student in Michigan wins write-in campaign for mayorAccording to a Detroit News article, Michael Sessions, an 18-year-old high school student, was elected mayor of Hillsdale, Michigan by a 732 to 668 margin after mounting a write-in campaign to oust the 51-year-old incumbent Mayor Doug Ingles.
Sessions was 17 and not yet qualified to get on the ballot in the spring. The day after his birthday, on Sept. 22, he registered to vote. The next day, he signed up as a write-in candidate.
He funded his race from a mere $700 he earned from a summer job. Sessions put up signs all over the town and campaigned door-to-door.
Sessions wants to attend Hillsdale College next year to study political science.

way coolness way to go shows anyone can be it i pray he has a great team or one shows up and works with him to be the best one for the peopl ehe can be and not let greed and power corept him bless him
Frankly, I believe this guy deserves a scholarship.
I've drawn some interesting conclusions from the story:
1) Anyone can run
2) age is only a minor issue and can be overcome
3) It does not cost a lot of money to run for political office in a small town
4) Don't under-estimate the power of a write-in candidacy
5) A handshake is worth more than an empty promise
6) They don't pay mayors enough in some towns; $250 per month is not enough to keep an adult interested in the job.
7) When Michael graduates from college, he will have had four years of on-the-job training as a mayor.

So far this story shows we have a chance of making this the usa most who where sheep thought it was the whole time now can a native born silly with no schooling and a great honest fair team whos not lead by religion and junk run for presadent on a write in lol and can there team be from around the world ????
