By not allowing us to go see conditions with our own eyes the US travel ban to Cuba is illegal, immoral and unconstitutional. They are afraid of what we might learn about solidarity.
Well, let's see Troutsky. The Further Left Library carries the Keep On Crossin' Manifesto. I'll check.
It says there: "When in the course of human events it becomes necessary to cross borders of political, social, linguistic, cultural, economic and technological construction...we wiIl cross. For long before there were borders, there were crossers. We are the proud sons and daughters of these crossers, and we hold that crossing is a basic human right. Furthermore, we hold this right to be in-illegal alienable." Yep, it is OK.
People travel back and forth between Mexico and Cuba all the time. Neighbors here have. I believe the same is true from Canada. One of our users reported going from Toronto. It just takes a slight detour to get there from the US. Here is a travel agency which prearranges trips between US and Cuba via either Cancun or Nasau.
Won't the US guardians of freedom get you and carry you down for re education as to what freedom is and isn't? Not if your passport is left unstamped, a part of the package. Or, if on your own, a couple bucks or maybe even a smile and a wink gets the same. They understand.
